Andrea DelGaudio Koban Payne, Ph.D.

Dr. Koban Payne is a licensed clinical and certified school psychologist. She completed her undergraduate studies in psychology at Boston College (B.A. 1990) and her master’s (1992) and doctoral degrees from the University of Pennsylvania (1998). Her doctoral training is in School, Community, and Clinical Child Psychology. At the Center for Child Assessment and Therapy in Media, Dr. Koban Payne works with preschool through college age students and completes comprehensive evaluations related to learning, developmental, and social emotional concerns.

Dr. Koban Payne completed a clinical internship at Children’s Seashore House in pediatric psychology and a school psychology internship in a public school district outside of Philadelphia. She has worked with children and families in both school and clinical settings. She is experienced in psychoeducational assessment and identification of suspected learning disabilities, developmental/early intervention transition evaluations, 504 service agreements, gifted evaluations, school admissions testing, and consultation. Areas of experience include learning disabilities and dyslexia, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, anxiety, behavior challenges, and intellectual disability. Dr. Koban Payne is also trained in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) for anxiety and trauma. She has taught developmental psychology at the undergraduate and graduate level.
